Some time ago the height-adjustable KW spring sets were only available for classic sports cars and super sports cars. During the past years, KW automotive, the suspensions manufacturer, developed its springs, also known as coil spring sets, for more compact and middle-class models. Alongside the Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W205 series) with rear-wheel drive, the height-adjustable springs are now available for all Mercedes-AMG C43 4MATIC models.

While the height-adjustable KW springs can be used to lower the Mercedes-AMG C43 4MATIC coupé, estate, and saloon by 5 – 30 millimeters at the front axle and 5 – 35 millimeters at the rear axle, the parts certificate for the Cabriolet (convertible) cover a different lowering range.

The body design of the C-Class convertible allows a continuously adjustable drop of 10 – 35 millimeters at the front axle and 5 – 35 millimeters at the rear axle.

The KW dust protection and additional KW elastomer spring elements included in the scope of delivery are always adapted to the greatest possible lowering with the coil spring set.

Thus, with the height-adjustable KW springs, sporty, harmonious driving behavior can be realized without compromising the driving dynamics of performance-oriented vehicles such as the Mercedes-AMG C43. In addition to the height-adjustable springs, KW automotive has also developed a KW coilover suspension made of stainless-steel for all Mercedes-AMG C43 4MATIC.
