Chris Forsberg takes 2nd @ Formula Drift Round 4!

It’s been another successful weekend for KW in the world of professional drifting, with Formula D competitor Chris Forsberg taking 2nd place @ Round 4 in New Jersey. Forsberg – who drives a 1000bhp VK59-equipped Nissan 370Z – utilises KW Competition 3-way suspension to allow for a precise setup and handling when drifting at speeds exceeding 100mph! The end result is yet another podium finish for the Formula D veteran, who now tops the drivers championship with 353 points – 59 clear of his nearest rival Fredric Aasbo.

Contrary to popular belief, a good drift car actually requires a serious amount of grip to be competitive. The more composed and predictable a car handles, the more confidence drivers have when initiating drifts and transitioning – especially crucial in the final ‘twin’ battles where competitors drift door-to-door.

Chris Forsberg is arguably the most consistent driver in Formula Drift, and with just three rounds left of the 2014 championship we’ve got our fingers crossed he can further extend this lead next month in Washington.
