Extensive ST suspensions program for the Ford Mustang VI (LAE)

For the so-called “world sports car”, the globally offered Ford Mustang VI (pre-facelift model LAE of the production years April 2014 – October 2017), ST suspensions has developed an extensive suspension program.

Starting with the ST lowering springs, which lower the center of gravity of the Mustang on both axles by 30 millimeters.

These performance stabilizers have three different mounting points to change the degree of stiffness and to further reduce the tendency of rolling as well as to increase the handling on the Ford Mustang. If the ST anti-sway bars are combined with one of the three ST coilovers, a whole new level of driving dynamics is reached.

The highlight for the Mustang is the ST XTA coilover kit with adjustable Aluminum Unibal top mounts and adjustable dampers. The ST XTA is the ideal performance tool for the road. Thanks to the damper technology developed by KW automotive, it is easy to set the ST XTA dampers even more sporty or, if desired, more comfortable.

With the top mounts, also the camber can be adjusted on the front axle. Setting the lowering is carried out directly on the fully galvanized spring struts.

The continuously adjustment range on the front axle is between 30 and 50 millimeters. On the rear axle, a lowering of 20 to 45 millimeters is possible.

The same range of lowering is provided by the ST XA coilover kit, which also has adjustable dampers, but is mounted the same way as the STX coilover suspension by using the series top mounts.

Unlike to the ST XA and XTA, the ST X has a fixed damper identifier. ST also has numerous wheel spacers in the program.

Depending on the mounted spacer set, the track on the Mustang can be widened by 10 mm, 22 mm, 25 mm, 30 mm, 35 mm, 40 mm, 45 mm, 50 mm, 55 mm or 60 mm.

Ken Block present the new BMW M2 ST DZX Wheel Spacers.

In addition to the ST wheel spacer systems “A1”, “D1” and “D2”, also the new “DZX system” is available. The track can hardly be widened faster and easier.
