GT Show China – the Event to be!

Last Easter Weekend, March 30th – April 1st, KW and ST suspensions were at the GT Show in Suzhou / China. The fair is also known as International Modification Fashion Show and the event is a kind of a new hotspot of the Chinese modified cars scene.

At the ST booth our highlight was a heavily modified Subaru BRZ driven in a Chinese grass-roots racing series. Also our modular AZX and DZX spacer systems are very interesting for the Chinese customers.

The Subaru BRZ ST XTA coilovers are also features adjustable unbial topmounts for camber adjustment at the front axle. By the way you also can adjust the rebound forces of the dampers. A little setup advice for the rebound. In general a soft rebound adjustment provides a comfortable ride at low vehicle speeds but your car will have less stability at higher speeds, especially on the front axle. A stiffer rebound setting offers more control but will reduce tyre grip. The best way, drive your car the first 1000 – 2000 km with our recommended setting and then start dial your own setup step by step.

For KW automotive the show was n huge success and in China is a big demand for high quality suspension kit made in Germany.

We got a lot of traffic at our booth and visitors were actually very interested in our products and showcased cars. For example, the popular KW coilover kit Variant 3 are installed in many customer cars.

But it´s getting even better. Besides to our Variant 4 and Variant 3 as well as the KW Clubsport coilovers, we also offer our adaptive KW DDC plug&play coilovers for the BMW M3 and M4.

KW presents the next generation of its adaptive DDC plug&play coilover kits.

The complete suspension control of the adaptive KW DDC plug&play coilover suspension works via the BMW series sensor technology, which also controls the adaptive KW damper valves.

The approved range allows a continuous lowering of 15 to 40 mm on both axles with the DDC plug&play kit in BMW M4 coupé (F82) and M3 sedan (F80).

A real eye candy at our booth was the Alfa Romeo 4C with its KW Variant 2 coilover kit. In China the sporty Alfa isn’t a well-known car and it was the only 4C at the show.

Built to perform in Chinese Drift Series is this beautiful Nissan S14 with its KW Competition 3-way Drift Spec suspension kit. The GT Show has become one of the most influential modified auto exhibitions in China.
