If you’re a regular reader of the KW blog our DDC ECU coilover system should need no introduction. This revolutionary product allows electronically-adjustable damping at the press of a button, and when combined with our WiFi module damping adjustability using your iPad or iPhone! How cool is that?

As you’d expect, this awesome technology works best when applied to something sporty like the Mk6 Golf GTI – something KW Germany has taken full advantage of with the car you see here. Now running close to 280bhp, the KW Mk6 Golf GTI utilises Brembo big brakes, 19in OZ Racing wheels along with a Scorpion exhaust system and REVO Technik software to completely transform the driving experience.

Fast? You bet! It’s the perfect blend of supercar-baiting performance matched with VW’s superb reliability and drivability. Stick the DDC ECU coilovers into ‘comfort’ mode and the DSG gearbox in auto for a super-comfortable drive ideal for racking up motorway miles or London traffic. A quick push of the DDC button stiffens the damping into ‘Sport’ mode for those twisty b-roads, while a further push will initiate ‘Sport+’ for the more serious driver or trackday enthusiast!
