Mad Mike has unveiled yet another incredible project in the form of his latest raging bull, ‘Radbul’. This Mazda MX5 has been totally re-rengineered with a 1000bhp four rotor, twin turbo rotary engine and bespoke suspension to complete in this years Formula D championship in the USA.
Last summer Mike met with KW UK’s Richard Good at Goodwood Festival of Speed and became a KW competition driver. Naturally KW were called upon to create an individual suspension solution to tame this wild beast. Each corner of the MX5 features a custom engineered KW 3-Way competition damper.
Built in the KW Competition department, the KW suspension allows independent adjustment of high and low speed compression damping plus rebound adjustment to allow the team to perfect the setup on the raging bull.
KW Engineers will be with the Radbul team every step of the way to hone in the suspension settings to create the perfect balance to control 1000bhp in 100+ mph slides.
This is Mike’s most involved project yet, and moving to a new shell allowed the team to create an entirely new chassis, designing with a clean slate. Testing has proven that the new setup is more precise than ever, with breathtaking results.
New Zealand’s 3News caught the car in action and filmed it’s 1st test. You can read the whole article and see the video footage here: mad-mikes-secret-drift-weapon-2015042517
