The special feature of the DDC for the G 63 is that we use solid piston shocks with two separate proportional valves for both the compression and rebound stages.
The KW DDC Coilover suspension is recognized by the on-board electronics and the adaptive damping system has three modes: “Comfort, Sport and Sport+”. Which can be selected from the cockpit via Dynamic Select and give the G 63 AMG a completely different character. In “Comfort” mode, long motorway journeys are much more relaxed. While in “Sport+” mode the 2.5-tonner becomes much more agile and circles through tight bends with ease.

According to the technical approved parts report, the tested adjustment range is 0 – 30 millimeters at the front axle and 5 – 30 millimeters at the rear.
