The 2017 Relaxing in SoCal event took place May 7th at the Stub Hub Center in Carson CA this year. Show vehicles and vendors rolled in at 7 a.m. getting ready for the doors to open to the public at 10 a.m. There was a massive amount of show cars lined up for display, and Belltech was lucky to have a great location right in the middle of all the action. There were some great food trucks and a BMX half pipe to the left of the booth, the classic car clubs to the right, and the event stage right in front of us. Aside from the wind blowing away a few Belltech stickers here and there our set up and location was pretty great at Relaxing in So Cal.
Visitors to our Belltech booth were able to check out our Nitro Drop 2 and Street Performance shocks, as well as our versatile height adjustable strut on display. We also showcased our drop spindle, which is one of our most sought after products. George Sanchez and Claudia Moreno Aka RST Girl brought their badass Belltech equipped red trucks to post up and display next to our both. These awesome trucks were a great example of what our products can do for our customer’s trucks.
Throughout the day numerous cars, trucks, motorcycles, skate boards, bikes and anything on wheels rolled in front of our booth. Static drops, air rides, lifted vehicles of all types showed up. It was nice to see all sides of the automotive culture on display. Attendees enjoyed the sights and sounds of the vehicles and vendors on display. Being a part of such an entertaining event that gives back to the community has always been a highlight for Belltech.
Like all the years before, all the proceeds from Relaxing in So Cal were donated to charity. In the past, the Relaxing in So Cal club have been able to send a hefty check to The ALS Association as a part of the “ice bucket challenge”, the Japan Relief Fund, National Cancer Society, MDA, Autism Funds, and various local charitable causes. Overall it was a great day and Belltech received lots of love from the many visitors that stopped by the booth.
