The Mountain is Calling: Are You Ready for the 15th Bathurst 12‑Hour Race? Our Motorsport Customers Are

One of the endurance racing highlights kicking off the circuit motorsport season is the Bathurst 12‑Hour from 13 to 15 February 2026. Why? Because the Australian track at Mount Panorama simply steals the show.

A tight and demanding 6.213‑kilometer layout with inclines of up to 16 %, and all of it partly on public roads. After all, the Mount Panorama Circuit in New South Wales in southeastern Australia is not a permanent track.

For the fifth year in a row, our Australian importer Scuderia Autoart is a partner and sponsors the corner complex at the end of the Conrod Straight high‑speed section known as “The KW suspensions Chase.”

The Bathurst 12‑Hour race is part of the Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC) and starts in the early morning hours local time

Once again in 2026, the “mountain run” up and down Australia’s Nordschleife‑like challenge will be intense and that’s not just because of the circuit. The who’s who of GT3 professionals is heading to Australia for the summit assault. The GT3 field alone will feature 31 cars, including 15 in the Pro Cup. What’s especially exciting: with General Motors and Ford joining the Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC), the series’ manufacturer ranking this year is as strong with six brands as it was back in 2019, while at the same time, numerous other manufacturers make up the international GT3 field at Mount Panorama.

In 2025, BMW celebrated a spectacular one-two finish in Australia with our KW Racing dampers

Of the 31 cars, GT3 models from Aston Martin, BMW, and Porsche are homologated with our KW V6 Racing dampers. The defending champions from BMW Team WRT are back on the mountain. In 2025, the Belgian BMW M Team celebrated a one-two finish!

The KW V6 Racing motorsport dampers are engineered using solid pistons

Watch out for the time difference: For fans in Germany, the race starts on 14 February 2026 at 19:45 local time (07:45 PM CET)

By the way, the race is streamed live for free on the Bathurst 12h Race YouTube channel.

Back in 2019 and again in 2024, Porsche claimed victory at the Bathurst 12‑Hour race on KW Racing dampers

Since 2011, our motorsport customers have already conquered 2024 and 2025 the “mountain run” at Bathurst. Could 2026 even become a hat trick?
