Drift: ST and Baggsy @ Speedmachine Festival 2018

This past weekend saw the launch of Speedmachine Festival at Silverstone. Silverstone is the new home of the British round of World Rallycross, and Speedmachine Festival brings together a whole host of automotive awesomeness.

It was a full operation for Baggsy and the team, with a full rig setup for the weekend. The rig would house fellow Monster Energy team mates Luke Woodham and Rick Van Goethem, with Driftworks driver Tessa Whittock.

Plus a special appearance from the guys of Black L’Amour Barbers giving out fresh trims to the Speedmachine crowds.

“Speedmachine Festival was an amazing weekend. We always love doing the drift demos at the World RX events, so that mixed in with everything the Speedmachine festival had to offer was awesome. We have been busy over the winter makes some changes to the #LSXR35, and it drove like a dream”, said Baggsy.

“It was great to see the reaction to the car from the fans, and the drift demos went down a storm! The whole vibe and atmosphere of the event was great. Having live music, racing, food and cars all rolled into one worked so well. I can’t wait for next years instalment already.”

Baggsy and his fellow drifters brought the smoke show to the action filled weekend, with five drift demos over three days on the famous Silverstone Stowe Circuit.

Drifting mixed with rallycross, live music and some of the best street food in the UK made one an epic event!

With hundreds of cars on display, trade stalls, racing simulators and more. There really was something for everyone at Speedmachine. With 27,000 people in attendance over the three days, the atmosphere was buzzing from start to finish.
