At the Dutzendteich on the Norisring circuit, things are always tight. ight narrow corners, virtually no run-off areas, and only those who dare will win. During the DTM weekend, the organizer recorded a total of 112,000 spectators in Nuremberg.
Starting from pole position, the TGI Team Lamborghini by GRT (#63) with Jordan Pepper at the wheel drove unchallenged to his first DTM victory. Behind him, however, things got heated.

Nicki Thiim and Maro Engel collided, which Thomas Preining in the Manthey EMA Porsche 911 GT3 R (#91) took advantage of to move further up the field.

While the #63 car remained in the lead and continued to pull away, Thomas Preining (#91) managed to gain another position thanks to a very quick pit stop and crossed the finish line in second place, 3.055 seconds behind.

Starting from 17th on the grid, René Rast moved up to finish in tenth place in the BMW M4 GT3 Evo (#33).

But in the very first lap, a multi-car incident occurred, and the race had to be red-flagged. After the restart, the leading trio remained unchanged with Thierry Vermeulen (#69), Jack Aitken (#14), and Thomas Preining (#91).

After the first mandatory pit stop, Thierry Vermeulen’s Ferrari dropped back to third place, while Thomas Preining in the Porsche 911 GT3 R and Jack Aitken in the Ferrari battled for the lead.

During the second pit stop, the Manthey crew sealed the deal, and with fresh tires, Thomas Preining (#91) was able to overtake the Ferrari on track.

After 64 laps, Thomas Preining crossed the finish line first, ahead of both Ferraris.

René Rast crossed the finish line in seventh place in the BMW M4 GT3 Evo (#33), while Ayhancan Güven (#90) and Morris Schuring (#92) were flagged off in eleventh and tenth place respectively in their Porsche 911 GT3 R cars.
