In the fifth and sixth DTM races of the 2025 motorsport season, KW Motorsport customer teams Manthey EMA and Schubert Motorsport claimed victory in the dunes of Zandvoort.
Thanks to Ayhancan Güven’s victory in Saturday’s race in the Porsche 911 GT3 R (#90), Manthey further extended its points tally in the 2025 championship and now leads the standings with 145 points.

Almost in the final meters, Ayhancan Güven in the Manthey Porsche overtook Nicki Thiim in the Abt Sportsline Lamborghini (#2), who had been leading until then, and seized the lead — a position he successfully defended even after the restart.

Under changeable conditions, the 911 GT3 R (#90) homologated with KW V6 Racing dampers crossed the finish line in first place after 34 laps with a narrow lead of just 0.3 seconds.
Incidentally, all Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo, BMW M4 GT3 Evo, and Porsche 911 GT3 R vehicles worldwide are equipped with KW Racing dampers. In addition, we supply numerous GT4 race cars in customer motorsport with our suspension systems.

Morris Schuring finished sixth in the Porsche 911 GT3 R (#92) from the Manthey Junior Team, while the fastest BMW from Schubert Motorsport secured seventh place (BMW M4 GT3 Evo, #11, Marco Wittmann).

The Comtoyou Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo (#8) finished in 18th place, while René Rast (#33, Schubert Motorsport) and Thomas Preining (#91, Manthey EMA) were forced to retire early from the race.

Right after the start of Sunday’s race, the two Schubert Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 Evo cars launched an attack and took the lead in formation. While René Rast (#33) started from pole position, his teammate Marco Wittmann (#11) overtook Jack Aitken in the Emil Frey Racing Ferrari (#14) at the start.

During the race, Thomas Preining in the Manthey Porsche (#91) steadily worked his way forward and held third place after the first pit stop.

After the second pit stop, Marco Wittmann (#11, BMW M4 GT3 Evo) continued to apply pressure on his teammate René Rast (#33, BMW M4 GT3 Evo), but remained tucked in his slipstream.
