There are now very few weekends left on the motorsport calendar where KW Racing customers are not competing somewhere around the globe and that statement applies even when looking exclusively at our GT3 motorsport customers.

The days when we equipped the majority of race cars exclusively for the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie or the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring are long gone. According to the provisional entry list for the Eifel endurance classic on May 16, 2026, 92 of the 165 entered race cars will be running KW Racing dampers.

But back to the first weekend of May. For our Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo, BMW M4 GT3 Evo, Lamborghini Temerario GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 R motorsport customers, the GT World Challenge Asia, GT World Challenge Europe and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship were on the schedule.
GT World Challenge Asia Rounds 3 and 4
Set amid the tropical surroundings of Indonesia, the GT World Challenge Asia visited the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, a venue best known for top-level motorcycle racing. Here as well, more than half of the GT3 field relies on KW Racing dampers. In the first race, round three of the championship, our motorsport customers unfortunately missed out on a podium finish.

In the battle for second place overall, the BMW M4 GT3 Evo (#10) from Team KRC, equipped with a KW V6 Racing suspension, made contact with the Ferrari 296 GT3 (#96). The resulting collision ended all podium ambitions.

In a race marked by several safety‑car phases, three of the eleven GT3 cars equipped with KW dampers finished inside the top ten. These were the Porsche 911 GT3 R (#911) from Absolute Racing, the Porsche 911 GT3 R (#25) from Porsche Center Okazaki and the Origine Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R (#4).
The second race, round four of the 2026 GT World Challenge Asia season, presented a very different picture. With a commanding start‑to‑finish victory, the Porsche 911 GT3 R (#37) from Phantom Global Racing not only secured the overall win but also delivered a major success for our motorsport customers.

The Porsche crossed the finish line with a 16‑second advantage. For driver Anthony Liu, the victory marked the end of a long drought. His previous overall win in the GT World Challenge Asia dated back to 2024. With his success in Indonesia, Anthony Liu celebrated his seventh overall victory in the series.

The foundation for the win was laid not only in qualifying. During his stint, teammate Loek Hartog built a lead of 2.7 seconds, which Anthony Liu was then able to extend further. He also benefited from the regulations, as the car running second at the time had to serve a so‑called success penalty of ten seconds during the pit stop.

Behind the leading Porsche, the race developed into a highly turbulent contest. Ultimately, another Porsche 911 GT3 R finished second overall. With the runner‑up result of Absolute Racing (#911), Porsche celebrated a one‑two finish in round four of the GT World Challenge Asia.

Further top‑ten results were achieved by Team KRC with their BMW M4 GT3 Evo (#89) in fifth place. Seventh and ninth places went to the Porsche 911 GT3 R entries from Absolute Racing (#918) and Origine Motorsport (#4).
GT World Challenge Europe at Brands Hatch

The GT World Challenge Europe is currently one of the GT3 championships with the largest grids worldwide. Here too, we equip around half of the field with KW V6 Racing and KW V7 Racing dampers. This also includes the Lamborghini Temerario GT3, which has been introduced to motorsport competition this season.

At the weekend, the championship visited the historic Brands Hatch circuit in Great Britain. More than 30 GT3 cars competed in front of over 20,000 spectators, who witnessed pure GT3 racing. With its intensity and drama, the action on track did not need to hide behind the classic BTCC or DTM races of the 1990s.
The race started with major drama right from the opening lap. A red flag was shown after the Boutsen VDS Porsche (#10) was taken out by the Razoon – more than racing Porsche (#914) and crashed into the barriers. After the restart, the action remained just as intense, as the eventual race winner was effectively decided by the stewards. The Mercedes‑AMG GT3 from Verstappen Racing (#3), which crossed the finish line first on the road, received two penalties and was ultimately classified only 13th overall. As a result, the victory was inherited by a Ferrari.

KW Racing customers then moved up into second and third positions overall. The Porsche 911 GT3 R (#2) from Boutsen VDS finished second, followed by the BMW M4 GT3 Evo (#32) from Team WRT in third place.

Team WRT fields four BMW M4 GT3 Evo cars in the GT World Challenge Europe, and their second entry (#31) also finished inside the top ten, securing fourth place overall.

Further top‑ten results for our customers were seventh place for Pure Rxcing with their Porsche 911 GT3 R (#9) and tenth place for the Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo (#7) from Comtoyou Racing.

Of the 34 GT3 cars that started the first race at Brands Hatch, 31 were classified at the finish. Seventeen of them were equipped with KW Racing suspension systems.

In the second race of the weekend, Lionspeed GP claimed victory. After retiring from the first race due to a steering issue, the Porsche 911 GT3 R (#80) dominated the race from pole position to the checkered flag. Mercedes‑AMG GT3 cars finished second and third.

Once again, Team WRT delivered a strong overall result, bringing all four BMW M4 GT3 Evo entries home inside the top ten. The cars finished fourth (#46), sixth (#32), seventh (#31) and eighth (#30).
A total of 33 cars started the second race, with 16 of them running KW Racing suspension systems.
IMSA at Laguna Seca

When European motorsport fans hear the name Laguna Seca, many immediately picture themselves struggling through the legendary Corkscrew corner in Gran Turismo or sim racing titles such as RaceRoom. Located in Monterey County, California, the circuit features a demanding topography with blind corners and steep elevation changes, making it almost as challenging as the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Last weekend, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship visited this iconic venue. Alongside the GT3‑based GTD PRO and GTD classes, the field also included GTP prototypes.

These endurance prototypes are comparable to Le Mans Hypercars and combine a standardized hybrid system with either a twin‑turbo V6 or a large‑displacement V8 engine, producing around 700 hp of system output.

While we currently do not equip any GTP prototypes with KW Racing dampers, we are well represented in the GTD PRO and GTD classes, supplying suspension systems to a total of six race cars.

Our motorsport customers celebrated a podium finish in GTD PRO with AO Racing, who secured third place with the Porsche 911 GT3 R (#77), corresponding to 13th place overall.

Pfaff Motorsports also delivered a strong performance, finishing fifth in GTD PRO with the new Lamborghini Temerario GT3 (#9). This was an excellent result, considering it is the first season in which Lamborghini’s new GT3 race car is being used in competition.

The BMW M4 GT3 Evo (#1) from reigning champions Paul Miller Racing also finished inside the top ten, scoring eighth place in class.

In the GTD category, the Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo (#27) from the Heart of Racing Team finished second.

Further classified results included fourth place for Wright Motorsports with their Porsche 911 GT3 R (#120) and seventh place for Turner Motorsport with the BMW M4 GT3 Evo (#96).
