KW returned to the illustrious Goodwood Festival of Speed again this year and marked KW’s 10th year in the UK market.
Stand 121 was home to the new KW S1 Clubsport build which uses Audi’s most nimble hot hatch as a base. Unveiled on day one of the show, this S1 is a track orientated build with Toyo R888 tyres, KW Clubsport suspension, bucket seats and a half cage.
Look out for more on this car as it gets used in anger at UK circuits and demonstrates the capabilities of KW’s Clubsport technology.
Also on display was the full range of KW and ST suspensions products, from spring kits to Race Coilovers.
Elsewhere at Goodwood Festival of Speed, the hallowed hill climb greeted friends of KW Manthey Racing and their Nurburgring 24hr Porsche 911…
The hill climb spring was also available to view on the Goodwood Festival of Speed live stream throughout the show if you were not lucky enough to attend in person and made for great viewing.
Also on Lord March’s driveway was Formula D drifter Mad Mike Whiddett who wowed the crowds with his incredible displays of car control on the narrow hill climb.
Also on the hill climb was Ken Block with his ‘Hoonicorn’ Mustang, spinning all four tyres in front of the audience.
Later on Saturday, Mad Mike came to the KW stand sign autographs and hang out with fans.
Missing out on Formula Drift round 4 to attend the event, Mad Mike commented ‘it’s the best motoring celebration in the world, I love Goodwood Festival of Speed!’
Judging by his smile, he also quite liked the KW Clubsport A1!
All over Goodwood Festival of Speed KW equipped cars could be seen, either in the race paddocks or the manufacturers displays. If you looked closely at the high performance SCG003 Glickenhaus, Mercedes’ incredible AMG G-class 4×4² or the Zenovo on the Michelin stand you could see KW technology underneath.
Elsewhere on KW stand a rare RHD 964 Porsche 911 Turbo, also fitted with KW coilover suspension, showed the vast range of models KW covers.
