Together with its brands KW suspensions and ST suspensions, KW automotive will present it’s new products at the 50th Essen Motor Show.

In Essen we will showcase for the first time at our “KW suspensions” booth (B165) in hall 3 the KW Variant 4 coilover kit with it’s 3-way adjustment for the Mercedes-AMG GT-R.

Also the German TV-Host and KW brand ambassador Sidney Hoffmann will sign autographs at the weekends on our booth.

World premiere: KW Variant 4 coilover kit for Mercedes-AMG GT-R

The new Mercedes-AMG GT-R is uncompromisingly designed for driving dynamics and it inspires sports car fans. The coupé gets even more driving pleasure with the new KW Variant 4.

The independently in rebound (16 clicks) as well as separately in low speed (8 clicks) and high speed compression (14 clicks) adjustable high-performance suspension unites leading motor sport technology with driving comfort for the road. In addition to a continuous lowering, the Variant 4 for the AMG GT-R is also optionally extendable with the KW HLS lift system.

Exhibition premiere: adaptive KW DDC coilovers for Ford Focus RS, VW T6 and M4

Adaptive damping systems and coilovers get an increasingly important role also in the aftermarket and in the tuning industry.

Already since 2011, the suspension manufacturer offers electronically controlled coilovers that are compatible with a wide range of control systems in the automotive industry. If there are no electronic dampers for vehicles from factory, KW offers with its DDC ECU coilovers the possibility to retrofit an adaptive coilover kit with optional control via smartphone App.

Also at the show: the adaptive DDC Plug & Play coilover kit for Ford Focus RS, BMW M4 and VW T6.

Forged at the Nurburgring Nordschleife: KW Clubsport

In addition to the tires, a perfectly adapted suspension is the most important for short lap times on track days. The KW Clubsport 3-way coilover suspension has been convincing in numerous tests of the trade press for years.

Whether in the Porsche or the VW Golf – a car equipped with a KW Clubsport coilover suspension provides enthusiasm at tourist rides and sports driver training on the Nordschleife, Hockenheimring and Co. The KW Clubsport 3-way coilover kit, also available with certificate, is available for more and more vehicles.

At our booth in Hall 3 we showcase for the first time in Germany the Nissan GTR of our ST brand ambassador Steve “Baggsy” Biagioni.

ST suspensions is getting popular in Europe: More and more applications with certificate

The suspension brand “ST suspensions”, which has been established in the US since the late 1970s, also offers suspension applications for more and more vehicles from Europe and the Far East, such as coilovers, sports suspensions, wheel spacers and anti sway bars.

At this year’s Essen Motor Show, the focus will be on vehicles from Asia. So ST suspensions will show the first with a ST XTA tuned Honda Civic Type R. The coilover kit equipped with aluminum Unibal too mounts also allows to adjust the damper characteristics individually.

ST suspensions broadens its innovative DZX track extension system by the AZX spacer discs allowing installation to wheel hubs using stud bolts and wheel bolts. It is irrelevant if the car is equipped with wheel hubs using stud bolts or wheel hubs in combination with wheel bolts! Through our multiple bolt pattern bores up to twelve bolt circles per DZX spacer can be covered. This is how we are able to cover all 4-, 5- and 6-hole bolt circles from 4×98 to 6×132.
