From September 10 to 14, 2024, we as KW Group will present the core competencies of our production sites in addition to our various technologies.
We at the KW Group are far more than just the well-known suspension brands “KW suspesions,” “ST suspensions,” “ap Sportfahrwerke,” and “Reiger Suspension.” We offer a much wider range of suspension technologies beyond our famous coilovers. Discover everything at Automechanika and soon on our new corporate homepage (www.kwautomotive.de).
The main focus of our presence at Automechanika is on the completed technology transfer between our headquarters in Fichtenberg and our two highly automated KW Damping Technology production sites in Spain and China.
In addition to chassis components for the automotive and accessory industries, KW Damping Technology manufactures shock absorbers and air suspensions in its highly automated plants in Abadiño, Spain, and Fenghua, China. These are mainly used in trailers, buses, commercial vehicles and caravans.
Our industrial manufacturing capabilities are used by manufacturers of solar panels, mining and agricultural machinery, and the railway and defense industries. As the KW Group, we also offer innovative KW damping technologies, including manually adjustable, semi-active, and height-adjustable systems, as individual original equipment components.
As one of the few aftermarket companies, we offer a complete range of semi-active suspension components, including software control algorithms, chassis control units, and sensors. We’re already supplying our damper systems to industrial customers and expanding our offerings in the off-road sector.
For example, we are expanding the product range of Reiger Suspension, the world market leader for off-road motorsport suspensions, with applications for off-road vehicles and pick-up trucks.
The new Reiger Suspension dampers, which can be manually adjusted in their damper characteristics, have a parts certificate and are based on the synergy of the successful KW damper technologies and the products used by Reiger in off-road and rally sports.
Beyond the well-known systems, we’re soon releasing four-way adjustable dampers and innovative mono-tube dampers for pick-up trucks like the Ford Ranger, Isuzu D-Max, and Toyota Hilux Reiger. All kits offer a lift of up to 60 millimeters (vehicle-dependent) and are manufactured at our KW Headquarters in Germany.
In customer racing, KW automotive equips racing cars like the Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 Evo, Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo, BMW M4 GT4, BMW M4 GT3, Mercedes-AMG GT4, Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, Porsche 911 GT3 R, and Toyota GR Supra GT4 with KW Racing dampers. Our adjustable suspension components are also used in many small-series and limited special models in the automotive industry.
For example, we are a technology partner of Brabus and Lamborghini Squadra Corse. The product range of coilovers, coilover springs, hydraulic lift systems, wheel spacers and sports suspensions of the KW Suspensions and ST Suspensions brands, which are established in the performance segment, will also be further expanded.
