BMW M5 Sedan (G90) or BMW M5 Touring (G99)? We can’t make that decision for you, but we can definitely help with stepless lowering.

But this time it’s not about driving dynamics or a full coilover kit for the current BMW M5 models. Instead, we’re focusing on our height-adjustable lowering springs aka KW HAS.
If you’re more interested in our KW V4 coilover kit for the M5 Touring (link) or M5 Sedan (link), you’ll find a separate dedicated blog post about our threeway-adjustable V4 on this blog. But back to our KW height-adjustable springs.

One reason why our height-adjustable springs are always worth considering is that they can be removed at any time, allowing you to return the car to full stock condition.
KW Height-Adjustable Springs turn any factory suspension into a simple coilover system

So what makes our height-adjustable springs so special? In short, they add the ability for stepless lowering to a standard factory suspension. This is especially interesting for enthusiasts who want to subtly lower their car while keeping the original dampers with their electronic valves.
During installation, the factory springs and elastomer spring elements are simply replaced with the KW components. The included KW threaded sleeves give the factory dampers the ability to adjust ride height steplessly. It doesn’t matter to us whether the factory struts have a welded or slipped-on spring perch

The height-adjustable springs can be installed on the BMW M5 in just a few hours at any specialist workshop or KW dealer. For this, the original springs, elastomer spring elements, and dust protection elements are replaced with our parts.

Height adjustment is carried out using aluminum threaded sleeves that slide onto the factory struts. The progressive KW springs, auxiliary springs, elastomer elements, and dust boots are always designed for the maximum possible lowering in combination with the adaptive factory dampers of the 727 hp BMW M5, without compromising driving dynamics or remaining comfort.
In fact, the height-adjustable springs improve steering response and harmonize perfectly with the three BMW M driving modes: “Comfort”, “Sport”, and “Sport Plus”. Both the 2,510 kg (EU unladen weight) M5 Sedan and the 2,555 kg M5 Touring can be lowered steplessly by 5 to 20 millimeters on both driven axles.
