Three 24-hour races in just three weeks – and our KW Racing customers celebrated success in all of them. We even came close to a hat-trick as a suspension supplier, nearly winning three 24-hour races in a row.
At Le Mans, the Porsche team Manthey 1st Phorm won the LMGT3 class, at the Nürburgring, Rowe Racing claimed overall victory with their BMW M4 GT3, and at Spa-Francorchamps, the Porsche team narrowly missed the overall win by just 8.7 seconds.

The race in the Belgian Ardennes was won by the Grasser Racing Team. The Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 with car number 63 completed a total of 549 laps and, after a flawless 24-hour marathon, celebrated Lamborghini’s first-ever overall victory at the 24 Hours of Spa.
In total, the race was neutralized by six Full Course Yellow periods and one Safety Car phase. These strategic interruptions played a key role in the outcome of the race.

At one point, the Porsche 911 GT3 R (#96) from Rutronik Racing, driven by Sven Müller, Patric Niederhauser, and Alessio Picariello, was leading the race. The team opted for a bold strategic path, choosing to skip a pit stop during a Full Course Yellow phase in the night – a risk that initially paid off.

But just a few hours later, Rutronik was caught out by unfortunate FCY timing: while car #96 came in for a scheduled pit stop, the race was once again neutralized. This allowed other teams to pit under more favorable conditions and gain significant time.

Shortly before the end of the race, the decisive moment came: a puncture forced the Rutronik Porsche (#96) to limp back to the pits about two hours before the finish. The chance of victory was gone. In the end, they missed out on the win by exactly 8.703 seconds to the Lamborghini.
The BMW teams Rowe Racing and WRT finished the race with three cars in the top 10: fifth place went to Rowe (#98), while WRT secured seventh and eighth with cars #32 and #31.

Verstappen.com Racing also delivered a strong performance. The Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo (#33), driven by Thierry Vermeulen, Harry King, and Chris Lulham, finished ninth overall and also claimed victory in the Gold Cup category.

Another class win in the Pro-Am Cup category went to the Porsche team AV Racing by Car Collection Motorsport (#29). With their 911 GT3 R, Mathieu Detry, Noam Abramczyk, Fabbian Duffieux, and Bo Yuan prevailed against the competition.
