KW racing customers score points at IMSA and GT World Challenge Asia this weekend.

There is hardly a weekend during the motorsport season when some racing teams are not in action with our KW Racing shocks. This is because more and more car manufacturers rely on our KW Racing dampers in their customer racing programs.

For example, all Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 Evo, Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo, BMW M240i Racing Cup, BMW M4 GT4, BMW M4 GT3, Mercedes-AMG GT4, Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, Porsche 911 GT3 R and Toyota GR Supra GT4 (including Evo models) are equipped with our KW Racing dampers directly from factory.

Numerous other projects, such as the Lamborghini SC63, as well as all the various racing teams that compete in non-homologation series and classes or all the customers in vintage motorsport series, Nürburgring endurance series, and many more.

Last weekend, for example, our customers celebrated three podium finishes in the two races of the GT World Europe Challenge in Magny-Cours (France) (race 1: victory BMW Team WRT with BMW M4 GT3 #32, 3rd place Rutronik Racing with Porsche 911 GT3 R #96; Race 2: 2nd place BMW M-Team WRT with BMW M4 GT3 #32).

Meanwhile, on the US East Coast at the Virgin International Raceway, the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship took place. Paul Miller Racing’s long dry spell ended at the Michelin GT Challenge at VIR.

GTD-Pro qualifying record time and overall victory at Virginia International Raceway: Paul Miller Racing.

In qualifying, Madison Snow secured pole position at the Virginia International Raceway with a lap time of 1:43.206 minutes.

Another customer racing team with KW Racing dampers also finished on the podium. The #23 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo of The Heart of Racing Team finished third overall in the GTD Pro class. Ross Gunn and Alex Riberas shared the cockpit.

Their teammates Roman de Angelis and Zacharie Robichon, in the second Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo (#27), finished the race in seventh place overall and fifth in the GTD class.

The two Porsche 911 GT3 R fielded by Wright Motorsports (#120) and MDK Motorsports (#86) finished 17th (#120) and 19th (#86) overall. In the GTD class, they finished ninth and eleventh.

The GT World Challenge Asia hosted its ninth and tenth races of the current championship season at the Okayama International Circuit in Japan. Numerous GT3 racing cars also start with our KW Racing dampers.

In Asia, numerous motorsport teams rely on the Porsche 911 GT3 R. Just over a third of the race cars in this championship are Porsche 911 GT3 R. The two Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3s and the sole BMW M4 GT3 are considered almost exotic.

The Porsche 911 GT3, fielded by Absolute Racing (#1), Porsche Center Okazaki (#18), and Phantom Global Racing (#13), completed the top 10 on Saturday’s race on positions eight, nine, and ten.
