For more than forty years, no other automobile series in its segment stands for the proverbial driving pleasure like the BMW 3-series does.
Also, for the new BMW 3-series (G20), KW automotive has developed the KW coilover kit V3 (Variant 3) that is independently adjustable in compression and rebound damping stage.
In its class, the BMW 3-series is the benchmark when it comes to driving pleasure, and for selected special models and motorsport projects, we work closely together with BMW and M GmbH for the original equipment.
Like with every KW coilover suspension from the “Street Performance” program we always have in focus: an agile handling, high driving safety, direct steering and sporty-dynamic driving comfort despite maximum lowering in everyday life.
On wavy asphalt surfaces, the KW suspension dampens harmoniously and prevents restless driving. Pitching and rolling movements of the body structure are significantly reduced.
No matter if in everyday life on country roads or poorly developed side roads, fast travel on the highway or the holiday ride over mountain passes with endless serpentines, with the KW V3 coilovers (Variant 3), the first-class road holding of the new BMW 3-series (G20) is amplified.
As tight as necessary, as comfortable as possible
Our adjustment philosophy for our `Street Performance suspensions´ such as the V3, is always to reach a driving behavior as tight as necessary and as comfortable as possible.
This is made possible by the adjustable KW two-way valve technology. It allows to individually adjust the driving behavior of the BMW 3-series (G20) sedan to the personal preferences with 16 clicks in rebound stage and twelve clicks in compression stage.
Even with maximum lowering and fast driving over bumps or large transverse joints, the wheels spring through the blow-off characteristics of the Variant 3 dampers.
The new BMW 3-series Sedan can be lowered on the front axle and rear axle continuously from 40 to 60 millimeters.
For those of you who are not interested in lowering your BMW 3series and would rather combine the performance of our KW V3 coilover suspension with even more comfort and minimal lowering, you may want to take a closer look at our KW V3 Leveling suspension kits. These kits allow you to choose a lowering range of 10 to 30 millimeters.
Soon, further KW coilovers like the adaptive KW DDC plug&play will be released for the sedan. For the BMW xDrive (four-wheel drive) models, the first KW coilovers are already in development.
Of course, we offer individual suspension solutions for all BMW 3-series models, including the classic models BMW E30, E36 and E46.
