Things are going very well for our motorsport customers in the 2025 Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). At the very first edition of the “KW 6h ADAC Ruhr-Pokal Race,” presented by our brand KW suspensions starting this year, a car equipped with KW Racing dampers once again took the win.

Once again, our long-standing Porsche customer team Falken Motorsports delivered an outstanding performance in the “Green Hell” with its two Porsche 911 GT3 R cars. After already clinching a double victory at the season-opening 70th ADAC Westfalenfahrt, the Falken Motorsports squad repeated the feat at the KW 6h ADAC Ruhr-Pokal Race. Congratulations!

KW company outing to the Green Hell

In 2026 and 2027, KW suspensions will again be the title sponsor of the 6-hour race within the Nürburgring Endurance Series. This year’s KW automotive company outing took us straight to the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

KW automotive employees at the KW 6h ADAC Ruhr-Pokal Race

Many colleagues who don’t usually work in KW’s motorsport department visited the Green Hell for the very first time and got an in-depth look at the day-to-day motorsport operations of the KW Race Service right at the track. At every NLS round and many other championships, our Race Service crew is on-site with the workshop truck to support our motorsport customers.

Before practice began, employees hopped on several shuttle buses for a tour of the Nordschleife. Many people forget that the Nordschleife, with its unique topography through the hills of the Eifel, a 24-kilometer layout with more than 80 corners, and hardly any runoff zones, counts among the most demanding and toughest race tracks in the world.

The different track sectors were presented, with explanations of what makes famous sections such as Hatzenbach, Fuchsröhre, Pflanzgarten, Schwalbenschwanz, and more so special. Modern GT3 cars, depending on Balance of Performance classification, generate up to 900 kilograms (1,984 lbs) of downforce at top speed on the Nordschleife’s Döttinger Höhe straight.

Other highlights of the company outing included a pit walk, visiting the starting grid, and a stop at the Goodyear Lounge directly above pit lane. A visit to the RaceRoom Café on the Nürburgring Boulevard also wasn’t to be missed.

Dense fog delayed the NLS race start

Only 107 cars lined up for the start, and due to dense fog the race distance was shortened to 4.5 hours instead of the scheduled six. Fog in August is not unusual in the Eifel, while Friday still saw bright sunshine and more than 30 degrees Celsius in the shade, visibility dropped to near zero on Saturday morning. The race eventually got underway around 2 p.m. and finished at 6:30 p.m.

Adrenalin Motorsport has already secured seven consecutive titles in the NLS

The performance of KW Racing suspension in the NLS is underscored by the fact that nearly half the grid relies on our KW motorsport kits and Adrenalin Motorsport Mainhattan Wheels has already secured seven consecutive titles. Maybe 2025 will make it eight!
