All over the world, many customers rely on our shocks in motorsport. It is almost impossible to keep track of all the championships and races. It is almost easier to say where the motorsport dampers from KW suspensions and Reiger Suspension aren‘t used.
Through our partnership with Lamborghini Squadra Corse in 2024, we are also equipping LMDh racing cars (Le Mans Daytona hybrid) in the highest endurance class of the WEC and IMSA for the first time.
Basically, large and even many more smaller motorsport teams compete with our hardware on the circuit, in hill climbs, rallies, rally raids, drifting and even in sidecar motocross; we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the numerous ‘privateers’ in particular. Please tag us on your social media channels so that we can repost your successes on our channels.
Whether asphalt, sand, gravel, mud or snow, KW group motorsport customers are on the road to victory
The successes of customer sports teams of car manufacturers equipped with our dampers alone are increasing all the time. In addition to all BMW M4 GT3, BMW M4 GT4, Mercedes-AMG GT, Porsche 911 GT3 R, Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport and Toyota GR Supra GT4, we have also been equipping the Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo and Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4 Evo with our KW Racing dampers since 2024. And Aston Martin immediately made motorsport history.
After a dry spell of over 75 years, it was the first time that an Aston Martin racing car had won the 24-hour race at Spa- Francorchamps! The winning car was the Vantage GT3 Evo from ‘ComToYou Racing’ with the starting number (#) 007.
As you would expect, one of the most successful GT3 racing cars was of course the Porsche 911 GT3 R. Manthey EMA won the 12-hour race in Bathurst, Australia, with their Grello (#912) at the beginning of the year.
Pure Rxcing then punched their ticket to Le Mans and the World Endurance Championship (WEC) with their championship victory in the Asian Le Mans Series.
While the Manthey EMA (#91) Porsche GT3 R won the LMGT3 class in the 24-hour race at Le Mans, the Manthey Pure Rxcing 911 (#92) won the world championship before the WEC finale in Bahrain (FIA Endurance Trophy for LMGT3 Driver / Teams).
In the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship in North America, AO Racing won the GTD-Pro classification with their green Rexy 911 GT3 R (#77). In the GT World Asia Challenge, the Porsche racing team Origine Motorsport won the drivers‘ and team championships with their 911 GT3 R (#87). The 24h Series powered by Hankook went to the Herberth Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R (#91) in the GT3-AM team and driver championship.
Porsche also won the Intercontinental GT Challenge in the manufacturers‘ championship, while Charles Weerts in the BMW M4 GT3 (#31) from Team WRT won the drivers’ championship. Speaking of the BMW M4 GT3.
For the second time since 2022, BMW Team Schubert Motorsport was crowned champion in the DTM team standings. BMW M Motorsport customers also enjoyed the successful season finale of the GT World Challenge Sprint Cup in Barcelona.
There, Calan Williams and Team WRT celebrated winning the Silver Cup title with their BMW M4 GT3 (#30). In the Bronze Cup, the title went to Dan Harper and Darren Leung in the Paradine Competition BMW M4 GT3 (#991) entered by Century Motorsport.
Adrenalin Motorsport has made history again, clinching their seventh consecutive Nürburgring Endurance Series title. Sven Markert, Ranko Mijatovic, and Toby Goodman, driving a BMW M240i Racing for Adrenalin Motorsport Team Mainhattan Wheels, dominated the season with an impressive six class wins out of eight races.
Team Audi Sport made history at the Dakar Rally with their Audi RS Q e-tron (#204) and Carlos Sainz. It was the first time that the world‘s toughest rally raid was won with an alternative drive concept.
However, Reiger Suspension is not only the top supplier at the Dakar Rally, but also in the W2RC, the World RallyRaid Championship.
This was won by Nasser Al-Attiyah in the FIA Drivers‘ Championship. At the finale, the Dacia Sandraider, which also runs on Reiger dampers, celebrated its fiery debut and will take part in the 2025 Dakar Rally.
The FIA manufacturers‘ classification was won by Toyota Gazoo Racing in the W2RC, which, like Overdrive, uses Reiger hardware in its Hilux off-roaders. But Reiger is also always the first choice for teams such as CanAm Factory, South Racing and Taurus in the side-by-side vehicles. Reiger also equips all Ford Puma Rally1 Hybrids and Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 Hybrids in the WRC.
