The 19,99 Kilometer (12.42 mile) and 156 turn challenge are nothing new for the 13-time class winner, Rhys Millen, as he teams up with Joey Seely of E-Motion Engineering.
You may recognize Millen setting records from Formula Drift and Red Bull Drifting World Championship. Among his many wins, he can also be seen off-roading, stunt driving and more.
He founded Rhys Millen Racing (RMR) at the age of 21 where he’s been successful at providing parts and services for rally, drift and movie cars.
Joe Seely is no rookie when it comes to preparing cars for competitions, either. In 2015, E-motions car won their class at Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC). He also has wins at 12hrs of Sebring, Petit Le Mans, and 25hrs of Thunder Hill.
With experience as a pro racing chassis engineer, it is no wonder Millen and Seely are an outstanding team.
The 1000HP Porsche 911 GT3R is equipped with none other than KW Racing dampers. We are humbled that RMR and E-Motion continue to trust our products in their custom builds when performance matters the most. We strive to provide our KW Racing products and KW Engineering for success.
As the second oldest motorsports race in America, this year will be special as competitors race in the 100th running of PPIHC. This is due to the races being halted during WWI and WWII. In 2016, they held a 100th anniversary celebration.
The event takes place on Saturday, June 26, 2022. If you’re not able to attend in person, you can catch the action by visiting the official Homepage of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
