The transverse dynamics either take place at the expense of driving comfort or suffers from the intervention of various assistance control systems.

KW three-way high-performance damper for variant 4
The KW Variant 4 is developed exclusively for super sports cars, sports cars and high-performance sedans. We manufacture this option for the most common suspension geometries, such as with McPherson struts, spring struts for cross-link or multi-link axles, as well as push-rod style suspensions made of aluminum or stainless steel.
In the KW Variant 4 coilover, we combine our leading race technology with a clear benefit in everyday life for numerous high-performance vehicles. This allows an independent adjustment of the rebound damping as well as the low-speed and high-speed compression damping. For example, KW provides Variant 4 with a vehicle-specific comfort setting. By means of the adjustable dampers, drivers can, if necessary, switch quickly to a performance adjustment with the integrated setting wheels on the damper.
With 16 exact clicks, the rebound damping adjustment wheel allows you to adjust the rebound forces for a tighter handling or more comfort. For an even more individually tailored driving behavior, the three-way high-performance shock absorbers can also be adjusted in the low-speed and high-speed compression stages, independently of the rebound.
Quite simply separately on the remote reservoir with six clicks in the low-speed range (7 characteristic curves) and 15 clicks in high-speed range (16 characteristic curves). As a result, the variant 4 allows a targeted influence on the deflection behavior, improved cornering stability, reduced roll inclination and other parameters with regard to driving and transverse dynamics as well as driving comfort.
The new KW coilover variant 4 is already available for the first super sports cars, sports cars and performance sedans. In detail: Audi R8 (42), Audi RS6 (C7), BMW M5 (F10), Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, Lamborghini Aventador and Lamborghini Gallarado. The Variant 4 has a part certificate and also allows a stepless lowering.
