The Car Point Merenberg Tesla Model 3 Performance is equipped with KW V3 coilovers and a BBS CI-R 20 x 8,5 inch wheelset with an offset of 36 millimeters.
In the Tesla Model 3 (AWD) the examined adjustment range of the continuous lowering is from 25 to 50 millimeters at the front and rear axle. Within the Tesla Model 3 models with rear drive, a lowering of 25 to 55 millimeters at the front axle is possible.
A few years ago, many decided to retrofit their cars with a coilover kit for maximum lowering. Nowadays, more and more automotive enthusiasts want a KW V3 coilover kit because the driving characteristic becomes better with our technology inside.
A quick explanation of why it is that way: We are one of the few Aftermarket manufacturers that consequently count on multi-valve damper technology within their coilovers.

A harmonic suspension is ensured even with a stiff setup due to the pre-configured highspeed valves and adjustable lowspeed valves for compression and rebound in our KW V3 coilovers. It is even possible to increase the reach of an electric vehicle with an optimally adjusted coilover setup. The electric car rental company Nextmove has shown that up to seven percent can be saved in a Tesla Model 3 with rear drive.
