For the fourth year running KW Automotive UK returned to the legendary Goodwood Festival of Speed.
As well as our product displays, we brought along our Porsche 997 Turbo S and our Audi RS3.
The Porsche 997 Turbo S has the first ever KW DDC Plug & Play coilover kit installed with HLS4 and is also equipped with OZ Racing Wheels and Falken tyres.
On the Audi RS3 we fitted our KW DDC ECU coilover kit. The car is also equipped with OZ Racing Wheels, Falken tyres and MTM tuning box.
Originally launched back in 1993 as a small event centred around a 1.16-mile hill climb, the Goodwood Festival of Speed is now known as the world’s largest automotive garden party.
Taking place on the front lawn of its founder, Lord March, who just happened to have a hill climb course also running alongside his house.
This year the manufacturers like Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes, BMW etc. have again turned up with massive buildings showcasing their entire fleet.
Again this year on Lord March’s driveway was Formula D drifter Mad Mike Whiddett with his KW equipped RX-8 Badbull and, of course, ST ambassador Ken Block in his Gymkhana EIGHT Ford Fiesta RX43.
The 2016 FOS was centred around BMW, who celebrate their 100th year of production in 2016 with a gigantic sculpture taking centre stage in front of Goodwood House.
In addition to the latest models blasting up the hill, BMW rolled out a massive collection of past race cars and bikes including those BMW-powered machines such as the McLaren F1 Longtail.
Although the weather was not the best this year and at times it felt like being at Glastonbury making your way through the mud, it was a great show once again and we will hopefully return next year!
