In recent years the world of Porsche Tuning has been shaken up dramatically by one man in Japan – Akira Nakai. As the founder of Rauh-Welt Begriff (RWB), Nakai-san lays claim to some of the wildest modified Porsches the world has ever seen, using race-inspired wide arches, monster deep-dish wheels and bespoke paintwork to personalise every model ranging from the 930 to the 996. His latest creation – a Targa Top 964 – is the first of its kind to receive the RWB treatment which includes high-performance KW coilovers.
