Selected KW Classic applications can now be ordered with a “black finish.” Accordingly, in our KW headquarters in Germany, we apply a black powder coating to the KW springs and spring perches on a custom basis. For example, in BMW 02, E21, E24, E23, E28, and E30 models, the struts with their forged spindles are black zinc-plated. This means you can get a completely blacked-out look.

This optional finish is meticulously designed for car enthusiasts who prioritize the authenticity of their retrofitted KW Classic suspension or KW Classic coilover suspension, ensuring it closely mirrors the original factory suspension at first glance.

For the final air-cooled Porsche 911 (993), we offer the exciting option to order the KW V3 Classic coilover suspension with black springs, adding a unique touch to your vehicle, even though the shock absorbers are made of stainless steel.

Already available with an optional black finish are the KW Classic suspension applications for Audi A8 (D2), Audi 80,90 (Type 81), Audi 80,90 (Type 89/89Q), Audi S2 (Type 89Q), Audi 80 (B4), Audi S2 (B4), Audi RS2 (Type P1), Audi 100 / S4 / A6 / S6 / S6plus (C4 /Q1), BMW E9, BMW 3 Series including M3 (E36), BMW 5 Series including M5 (Type E34), BMW 7 Series (E38), BMW 8 Series (E31), DeLorean DMC-12, Ferrari Testarossa, and Lancia Delta Integrale. The spring perches and spacers are also kept black in this case.

The option with black powder-coated springs is also available for vehicle models such as Mercedes-Benz W124 series, Mercedes-Benz 190 (Type 201), Mercedes-Benz S-Class (C126), Mercedes-Benz SL (R107 and (C107), Opel Kadett C, Opel Ascona B, Porsche 911 (964 and 993), Porsche 928, Porsche 944, Porsche 968, VW Corrado (Type 53i), VW Golf I, II and III, VW Polo and Derby (Types 86, 86C, and 86F), and VW Scirocco (Types I and II).
