License for lowering: KW height adjustable springs for Aston Martin Vantage

We offer our height adjustable springs for an increasing number of vehicles. In contrast to conventional suspension springs, our adjustable springs allow to carry out a continuous lowering without replacing the series dampers with aftermarket shocks.

Similar to our coilover suspensions, with our customized threaded bushings developed for the adaptive series dampers of the Aston Martin Vantage (AM6), an individual lowering of up to 30 mm can be adjusted.

While conventional springs always only allow a fixed lowering, the KW springs have a threaded sleeve, which is used to set the level of lowering. When installing the height-adjustable springs, the series dampers with their damper control remain.

The block-resistant springs made of chromium-silicon steel allow a lowering of 5 to 30 millimeters at the front axle of the Vantage. On the drive axle, the tested adjustment range is between 10 to 30 millimeters. The spring rates harmonize with the driving modes: Sport, Sport Plus and Track of the Aston Martin Vantage.

Sporty, harmonious driving behavior

When installing the coilover springs, the additional spring elements and dust protection elements designed for the maximum lowering of 30 mm of the Aston Martin Vantage replace the standard bump stops to keep enough suspension travel.

With the height-adjustable KW springs, a sporty and harmonious driving behavior is realized, without that the driving dynamics and the ride comfort suffers at the sports car that reaches up to 310 km/h.

The KW coilover springs also have a technical component report and are available for many cars.
