From 26 to 29 May 2016, the Nürburgring Nordschleife is again in the focus of motorsport fans. The toughest endurance race in the world is calling, the ADAC Zurich 24h Race Nurburgring ensures a festival atmosphere in the Eifel!
Across all classes, from 170 starting race cars, 79 cars of the starting grid relies on the KW Competition suspension technology. In the recent past, teams equipped with KW Competition reached already six overall victories and countless class wins.
At the ADAC Zurich 24h Race Nurburgring 2015, the teams equipped by KW celebrated ten class wins and the Falken Motorsport Porsche that is also equipped with a KW racing suspension reached the third overall place.
In the SP9 GT3 not only the factory-supported Porsche 911 (991) GT3 R with the drivers Nick Tandy, Keven Estre, Earl Bamber, Patrick Pilet (starting number “911”) and Jörg Bergmeister, Richard Lietz, Michael Christensen, Fred Makowieck (starting number “912”) drive with a KW competition suspension.
Also the Falken Motorsport Porsche 911 (991) GT3 R with the starting number “44” with Wolf Henzler, Peter Dumbreck, Martin Ragginger and Alexandre Imperatori driving, the Frikadelli 911 (991) GT3 R (starting number “3”) with Top-Gear-presenter and fastest woman of the Nordschleife Sabine Schmitz, Klaus Abbelen, Patrick Huisman, Norbert Siedler and the Wochenspiegel Team Manthey Porsche (starting number “12”) with Georg Weiss, Oliver Kainz, Jochen Krumbach and Mike Stursberg in the cockpit send a strong signal.
In the brand trophies like BMW M235i Racing Cup and the Porsche Cayman GT4 Trophy by Manthey Racing they also rely on the KW competition suspension program.
But also the popular “Titus Viper” from Skate Aid e.V. with Titus Dittmann, Bernd Albrecht, Reinhard Schall and Michael Lachmayer with the starting number “13” rely on KW just like numerous other cars.
Including highlights like the Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus SCG003 (starting number “701”), the SCG P4/P5 Competizione M16, the three race cars from Hyundai Motor Germany (Hyundai Veloster 1.6T, Hyundai i30 2.0T, Hyundai i30 1.6T) or the Porsche Cayman GT4 that is driven among others by Smudo of the famous music group “Die Fanatastischen Vier”.
A premiere at the 24h Race Nürburgring is celebrated by the new Ford Mustang and the two Seat Leon TCR. To the delight of all fans, also the popular Opel Manta with Volker Strycek, Olaf Beckmann, Peter Hass and Jürgen Schulten is also in the “Green Hell” again!
And the fans will get an fantastic long 24-hour race weekend. In addition to the Audi Sport TT Cup, the ADAC 24h-Classics-Race and the ADAC Zurich 24h Race Nürburgring, it also gets to the point at the WTCC presented by KW!
