40 years of Belltech – Wrapping up our Icon Calendar Contest at SEMA 2023

SEMA 2023 is a wrap, and a highlight of this year’s show was celebrating our 40th anniversary. The wrap-up of our Belltech Icon calendar contest concluded at the end of August, and a winner was chosen.

Greg Nettles was chosen as the Belltech Icon calendar contest winner and was put into the KW automotive booth as Belltech’s booth truck. His truck is a glowing testimate to the company’s rich and full history. You can read more about his entry in the blog story we published earlier in the year HERE.

We launched the long-awaited and anticipated Chevy OBS Coilover Conversion and 4-Link system. This year, our R&D team has been hard at work developing this kit as a tribute to our past while modernizing the technology for the future of the OBS.   Here are some images of what was displayed. For more information on this kit, call our customer service team or email info@belltech.com

In addition to SEMA coverage, we wrapped up the docuseries that we decided to produce and knew we needed to reach out to our incredible partners at Auto Revolution.

They worked with our team to delve into aspects of our past, came to our offices in Clovis, CA, and interviewed some of the team and past members of the Belltech family.

So, if you haven’t already, check out our 3 part series!

Since 1983, a small company in Fresno, California, had ideas on how to build the best-performing lowering suspension. Belltech’s drop spindle was launched and helped fuel America’s Sport Truck craze.
In Part 2 of our anniversary series, we dive into Belltech being brought into the KW automotive family and incorporating KW technology into our products. We reflect on our iconic 30th-anniversary celebration and our manufacturing process and capabilities. We also sit down with Cameron Bishop of Cuttingedge Hotrods to talk about his custom build; you can learn more about his story here
In the final installment of our anniversary series we talk about the inception of Belltech Off Road and we highlight the capabilities and dedication of our R&D team. We also throw it back to the iconic Tribute Truck with California Speed Custom and the emerging resurgence of older generation builds, and the push to celebrate our roots with our Belltech 40th anniversary Icon Contest.

We sincerely want to thank everyone who submitted and shared their incredible stories; we couldn’t have met this milestone without all our customers and we look forward to the exciting things that Belltech has in store for 2024!

Lastly, a huge congratulations to our winner, Greg Nettles. Check out his build on the front cover of the 2024 calendar coming soon!
