Over 1,200 students with special needs got the opportunity to take a break from the classroom and participate in a fun filled educational field trip. Each year the event is centralized around a theme to create a fun experience for the children and this year’s theme was Candy Land.

With the help of many companies, the children were able to visit numerous booths and get a glimpse at what each one specializes in while interacting with the many hands on activities and vehicles the event had to offer. KW automotive North America, Inc. was proud to be one of those companies, and with the help of our team we were able to transform our booth into a Candy Land treat for the children. The kids got to learn how the parts we manufacture go into various car and truck applications to increase their performance.

As a souvenir the children were given posters and other goodies to help them remember their time spent at the KW automotive booth. They were fascinated by all the different vehicle applications featured on the posters and were so excited to share them with their families when they got home. Throughout the entire event streams of children were constantly lined up just to visit the KW booth.

They really enjoyed seeing our custom truck on display and getting the opportunity to take a picture with it. It was great to see how our presence at the event put a smile on so many children’s faces and increased their passion to learn more about automobiles and trucks.
