Right now, the “Asian Le Mans Series” kicks off at the Persian Gulf with the first race at the Dubai Autodrome. Our Porsche Customer Teams GPX Racing from Dubai and Precote Herberth Motorsports from Bavaria are part of the challenging starting grid.
Already at the Qualifying on Friday morning the Porsche 911 GT3 R showcased an awesome performance. In the challenging GT Class with 16 GT3 race cars, the three Porsche dominates the 5,34 km long Autodrome Dubai Grand Prix Course.
The Precote Herberth Motorsport 911 #99 with Robert Renauer behind the steering wheel showed an outstanding performance in the Qualifying. He achieved the Pole Position in the GT Class.
Close on his six the local motorsport team GPX Racing (GP Extreme Racing) the winners of the 24h Race Dubai 2021 hit the second place in the Qualifying. The French driver Julien Andlauer will start in the GT Class with the Porsche 911 GT3 R (#40) from position two.
From the second starting line in the GT Class the second Precot Herberth Motorsport Porsche 911 (#93) will join the race. Klaus Bachler drove the #93 Porsche in front of an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 above the finishing line.
